Location: Rochester, PA
This job was actually two bores that ran parallel to each other. One bore was 600ft, the other was 1200ft. We were called out to come help because the crew on site tried to steer with a walkover and ran into issues with underground obstructions causing interference.
Both of these bores were running alongside several railroad tracks, which made tolerances strict. If we ever had any deviation underneath the tracks, we would have to shut down and call a railroad inspector out, so our accuracy was very important. The picture here is of the 2nd bore coming out. Both bores came out right on target thanks to our guidance system. This job was also done with a JT100, which wirelines cannot operate with.
